Barcelona Blues

This is an 11x15 mixed media from my travel series. I am not going anywhere this summer, but am thinking about places I would like to visit. "Barcelona Blues" came to mind after reading Dan Brown's book, Origins. It takes place in Spain and Dan does a great job of describing the art and architecture of the places he writes about. It makes me blue to be missing actually seeing the amazing things he describes. This piece is currently in Fernley at Art Indeed! Gallery on Main Street.
