Skier

Snow is good for more than looking at or walking through.

Skiing is a sport that depends on the falling snow to enjoy. My skier, above, is finishing a long day on the slopes and returning to the ski village to enjoy a restful night. His dog is looking forward to being fed on the return. The name of this painting is “Skier in the Snow”.

Ferris Wheel

The snow doesn’t stop the “Ferris Wheel” in London from turning although not many people want to brave the weather to ride on it!

I lived in wine country for about 40 years. Rarely did it snow there, but there was always a chance of a rouge storm leaving snow on the ground.
