I believe
I’ve been experimenting with coldwax/oil, a new technique using oil paint and something called coldwax. The coldwax is the consistency of vaseline and combines with the oil paint in an interesting way. I have stayed away from oil paint since my college days because of the toxicity of the turpentine and oil that you must use with it. With this technique, you do not use turp but instead clean the brushes with Johnson’s baby oil. Much less toxic! This piece is 12x15 on masonite and sells for $250.
