Around the Table

This is a painting I did in a workshop with Alvaro Castenaga in March. While it is based on a photo offered by Castenaga, it is my original painting. Alvaro emphasized using neutral colors or values instead of bright colors. I enjoyed the workshop and am still ruminating on the things he taught.
