Indigenous Pouch III

Indigenous Pouch III

As I promised last week, I am showing my third indigenous pouch. These pouches bring me peace throughout my day as I glance at them in my studio. There is something eternal and basically human about them. I was speaking to a fellow artist at this weekend’s reception who had created clay flower pots that hang on the wall. She filled them with edible dried flowers. Her suggestion to the person buying one was to crumble the flowers at some point and use them to flavor soups or salads. My pouch is filled with dried sage, which also is edible. Buy the pouch and use the herbs for sustenance.
