Volcano

Volcano is my 14th abstract in the series I have been working on. I have learned from this experience. Working in a series is a time honored technique that goes back to the Impressionists. It challenges the artist to find something new in the subject matter. Working abstractly makes that part of it easier as it is nearly impossible to do two abstracts exactly the same.
