Peony

The peony is one of my favorite flowers. It does well in this mountain climate where I live. I did this piece on yupo and it almost created itself. Yupo spreads the paint in interesting ways and somehow, a peony appeared as I was pouring paint on the surface. It is one of my favorite pieces, maybe because I really don't feel that I did it! It will be at Thae Artist's Co-op starting in July and will be on display for three months...unless it sells first. The price is $500.
