Strong Roots

This piece was shown first at Art Indeed! Fernley and now is at BVW Jewelers at 35 Foothill Road in Reno. It was a painting that I did based on legal immigrant populations that have come to the US and made solid contributions to the success of this country. I am thinking of Kim Lu who came from Viet Nam through difficult circumstances but anchored her family here where all of her children attained advanced degrees and productive careers in this new world. I am in awe with what people have overcome to live in this country. The painting is 24 x 24 mixed media on canvas and sells for $400. Contact me if you are interested in owning it.
